Soroptimist International of Long Beach (SILB) is a volunteer service organization for
business and professional women who work to improve the lives of
women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world.
In addition to the community gifts listed above, SILB will have a limited sum each year to distribute to nonprofit or public benefit organizations for worthy projects that improve the quality of life in our community. Grant application guidelines are outlined below.

- Gladdes B. Neff Soroptimist Scholarship Fund - Scholarships for students at California State University Long
Beach in the last year of study for a degree in a health care
field.

- Helen Diamond Soroptimist Scholarship - A grant from Women in Management allows us to give a $2,500 award to a business student at California State University Long Beach or Long Beach City College. Please click the link to find application materials.

Katherine White, M.D. Scholarship - Honors Dr. Katherine White, a dedicated leader in Soroptimist International of Long Beach for 42 years. The honoree is a student who has successfully overcome personal adversity and is also a prior Soroptimist scholarship winner.

- Scholarships – Scholarships for students at Long Beach City College, high school students, and Women in Philanthropy at California State University, Long Beach.
